For the Dentist

Our hands-on seminars for General Dentists and Specialists focus on improving dental procedures to make them less invasive and create more attractive results. All dentists are welcome to learn the delicate techniques of high-quality periodontal treatment that I teach in both the United States and Japan.

Suture Techniques and Soft Tissue Engineering

Soft and hard tissue aesthetics around the teeth is a vital part of periodontal surgery. This course will focus on how suture techniques and soft tissue engineering can affect the outcome of periodontal procedures, including implant-supported prostheses. Use of Periodontal Plastic Surgery Techniques will also be stressed for optimal aesthetic outcome and facilitation of oral hygiene. This course will include a didactic portion as well as a hands-on where participants will practice suture techniques on animal jaws.

Advanced Methods for Scaling and Root Planing Under the Loupes

Certain Calculus and deformity of Root Surface are not visible by the naked eyes but may be seen clearly by using the loupes for Scaling and Root Planing. Occasionally, there is a need to handle soft tissue to gain proper access, and under the loupes you can clearly see the working site that will lead to the precise instrumentation. As such, Scaling and Root Planing would be more efficient and less traumatic for patients.
